The book Soldier's Heart is the story of Charlie Goddard who signed up for the military at age 15. It's the story of all the battles he fought and the time he spent in camp. It shows how harsh the Civil War was on all the people involved in it. My memorable moment is: "They had uniforms on, red flannel shirts, so he knew they were Minnesota men, but the dead all looked a like. Broken, like broken toys or dolls." on page 37. My recomendation for who should read this book is teenagers. I think that because it tells the story of a teenage soldier. I rated this book a five out of five stars because it starts off with him signing up and it has good details about all the battles.
